Eating special foods which are Samgyetang and dog meat, there are many people who eat these foods on 3 days of Chobok, Jungbok, and Malbok. This year, they fall Chobok is on July 12, Jungbok is on July 22, and Malbok is on Aug 11. The total day that peoples are called the dogs day. It is one of the hottest days during the year. Many people will eat these foods to endure the hot summer. They always think that it is protect to themselves healthy and tradition to eat such foods on these days in Korea. I also think so. I will have Samgyetang(ginseng chicken soup) on the first day of the dogs days.
