Do you think food is an important part of a country\'s culture?

I think some food can show their cultures and traditinal foods includes thier their history. For example, 부대찌개 is famous food in my country. It was made in 1950 by American soldiers. In the past, South korea is one of the most poor country in the world and some American soldiers who worked in South korea often gave some food to us. We got a lot of spam and sausages from U.S Soldiers. We tried to mix with Kimchi soup. Because of soup can be eaten by many people and It was important because peoples didn\'t money to eat. Attempt was success. This food became a famous food in Korea. My remember, I ate it one a week. It is really delicious but It has a history of South korea that poor period.
