Most university students in Korea can choose two different majors. However, studying two majors with equal weight requires a lot of effort and time. Therefore, some students choose two areas as a major and a minor, or choose one major and take courses that are helpful for employment or obtain certifications. My eldest daughter majored philosophy and psychology because she was interested in those. She had to attend more classes and graduated two years later after other alumni did.
